THIS FRIENDLY BIG FELLA FIT RIGHT IN WITH MY MYSELF MY HUSBAND & FRIENDS & FAMILY ON OUR WEDDING DAY. IT WAS LIKE WE HAD KNOWN HIM YEARS. WITH THE DIFFICULTY OF RAIN AND MY ROWDY/UNORGANISED LOT HE MANAGED TO CAPTURE OUR UNFORGETTABLE MAGICAL DAY. HE IS VERY TALENTED AND HIS ASSISTANT NAV ARE A HARDWORKING/PROFESSIONAL/FUN TEAM. THEY FITTED IN WITH OUR FAMILIES SO WELL IT WAS LIKE THEY WERE PART OF THE WEDDING PARTY JOINING IN WITH ALL THAT WAS GOING ON,AND I’M GLAD THEY FELT COMFORTABLE TO DO SO. HAPPY PHOTOGRAPHERS + HAPPY COUPLE = THE BEST PHOTOS! THANKS SO MUCH FOR CAPTURING HOW MUCH MYSELF AND NEIL ACTUALLY DO LOVE EACH OTHER WITHOUT ALL THE MUSHY BITS OR AT LEAST MAKING US POSE MUSHY FOR TOO LONG! ALL VERY NATURAL PICS. THEY WERE THERE ALL DAY, FROM THE SET UP TO THE DRUNKEN FUN KNEES UP! I CAN’T WAIT FOR YEAR TO COME TO KEEP LOOKING AT OUR BIG DAY, AND LAUGHING AT THE BAD FASHION/LOOKS WE ALL WENT FOR BUT HOW MUCH OF A GREAT/LOVING DAY IT WAS. WILL BE DEFO RECOMMENDING AND WILL HOPE IN THE FUTURE HE WILL AGREE TO TAKE PHOTOS OF OTHER EVENTS.
When Helena and Neil first got in touch with me about their,The Gardens Yalding wedding in Maidstone Kent, I was so happy – they were planning a proper tipi wedding with an outdoor ceremony, a
Getting ready
I started shooting at The Gardens Yalding, where the bride was getting ready, and it was so much fun, because everyone was in a good mood. Helena wore the most beautiful dress and Neil wore an awesome suit and they looked so perfect. Neil arrived at the venue with all of his groomsmen in good spirits, Neil even managed to get a card from the Millwall Football club manager wishing him the best (crazy).
The ceremony – The Gardens Yalding
The wedding took place outdoors at the Stunning The Gardens Yalding and was a beautiful garden ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which everyone enjoyed. The weather held out just enough to walk down the aisle without Helena getting soaked. After the
It was a slightly rainy day, which wasn’t in the plan but Helena & Neil just embraced it and didn’t mind. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, we wandered around the venue having fun and getting some creative portraits. My favorite photo from the day is the one of Helena and Her brides made Ashley on her shoulders with there faces painted and dancing away. madness!!
During the reception they had a photo booth, which everyone loved. Face Painting and even an open fire in the tipi to keep everyone warm, the bridesmaids danced their way into the wedding breakfast and Neil and Helena arrived in style high fiving everyone as they made their way to the top table for the speeches. each table had a different jar of biscuits on them, my personal fav is, of course, the ginger nut!! just before they started the speeches Helena & Neil
Some very funny speeches and embarrassing moments shared and it was time to party but not before the Bouquet toss of course. Scroll down to see happen during the bouquet toss it was hilarious, I have never seen it happen before. the cake cut and party, some blooming awesome doughnuts (you must have these at your wedding) and then the party. Such a fantastic wedding day I wish we could do it again!
