AN AWESOME THE ASYLUM CHAPEL WEDDING, SIGHTSEEING PIZZA AND PARTYING

When Susie and James first got in touch with me about their Asylum Chapel wedding in South East London, I was so excited – they were planning a relaxed and laid back wedding with an intimate ceremony, a live band. Susie and James seemed like the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

I began the morning at a sunny London, where the bride was getting ready, and it was really chilled. Susie wore a Stunning Wedding dress and James wore the most awesome velvet suit and they looked so incredible. Once ready we all set off for the Asylum Chapel for the ceremony arriving in true London style in a Black Taxi Cab, the sun was shining and everyone was ready.

The ceremony – The Asylum Chapel

The wedding took place At The Asylum Chapel in South East London, and was a beautiful intimate ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which everyone enjoyed. After the ceremony, there was a big cheer from everyone, and then we went and did some beautiful portraits. Susie and James were then showered with confetti in front of The Asylum Chapel steps and enjoyed a few drinks before heading off for a quick sightseeing tour on an Old Routemaster London Bus. Making a quick pit stop at a random Italian cafe for some relief before moving on for dinner.

The Reception & Party – Off The Cuff Bar

The wedding reception took place Off The Cuff Bar in Herne Hill London, which is simply an awesome venue with space for a live band in a separate part with a bar and some retro arcade games. It was incredible.

It was a beautifully sunny day, which was glorious. While the guests hung around drinking Prosecco, we wandered around the village & Park doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from the afternoon is The dip next to to the Herne Hill Sign.

At the end of the meal, they had live music, which went down a storm. sining old London songs to get everyone in the mood. For the meal, they had the most delicious pizza from a wood-fired oven. After the meal the band started up, then the party got started and the couple hit the dancefloor.
