So a few months ago I had the awesome pleasure of photographing my friends at their beautiful wedding at the stunning South Farm in Cambridgeshire.
Of course any wedding brings with it some pressure to ensure you capture all the key moments and tell the story of the day through the images you produce. However, photographing a friend’s wedding just added that little bit extra on the day.
Terry and Rita are a fantastic couple, full of life and energy, always working towards the goals they have and enjoying their journey together. Finally after many years of everyone waiting, Terry decided to make an honest woman of Rita.
The wedding was fabulous with so many special details, from the personalised converse shoes to the message Terry wrote on the bride’s shoe and the beautiful flowers, alongside the wonderful gift bags Rita had made for all the guests. The rain held off and the sun shone through the ceremony and just long enough for us to disappear after the ceremony to the secluded lake for some fun couple portraits. I have to say, Terry and Rita were brilliant; we had some fun and the result of that patience is some stunning photos captured not only by me but my awesome second on the day, Gemma Morgan.
I have to say a big thank you to Terry and Rita for being awesome fun and willing to be patient whilst we “followed the light”. Thanks also to the staff and management team at South Farm for looking after Gemma and I.
Finally a massive thank you to my second Gemma Morgan for being awesome and so much fun all day.
